Eugene Royzengurt began his career in the mid-90s by getting his dental assisting certification. He worked as an in-office dental assistant in various offices for approximately 10 years. During this time, he continued his education, intending to become a dentist. However, as his work experience grew, he realized he enjoyed and excelled in technical work. This realization led him to want to explore the technical aspect of dentistry and, ultimately, he decided to pursue that route instead.
In 2007, Eugene was able to open his lab. Still in pursuit of more opportunities, eventually he decided to go back to school. In 2021, he received his bachelor’s degree and became a denturist.
Currently, he focuses primarily on lab work, specializing in removable and implant-supported prosthodontics. He also serves his Utah dental community by consulting with dentists to ensure their patients receive the highest quality dental prostheses.

One concern Eugene mentioned was that the education available on digital dentistry hasn’t matched the accelerated speed with which digital products are being used—and we agree with him. As he said, much of the education regarding digital products is surface level, and to adequately serve clients and patients, dental professionals need more in-depth training. This is an area we anticipate will continue to grow as more laboratories explore digital solutions.
