Before his successful dental technology career blossomed, Dennis King (kingdentalarts.com) learned the ropes at the Atlanta Technical College, mastering a two-year ADA-certified dental laboratory program, a journey he continued during a residency at Fort McPherson Army Dental Lab.
His story began in earnest in 1975, with the opening of his own lab in Atlanta. After some adventurous years and a relocation to St. Simons Island in Georgia, he met his future wife, Darlynn. Together, the couple made the decision to explore the majestic mountains of Tennessee in 2007 and opened a small boutique lab in Bristol.
Dennis kept working to increase his skill set and is now the Technical Director of King Dental Arts, imparting his wisdom to budding dental technicians. His wife, Darlynn, steers the ship as the business manager, keeping a close check on hiring processes and ensuring top-notch quality control.
After all these years, Dennis built up King Dental Arts so that it’s now a master class in the fabrication of high-end crowns, bridges, implants, cosmetic makeovers, and full-mouth reconstructions.
